by Steve Darmo
This blog is dedicated to finding great places to dance tango throughout the world. I want to share my experiences on the road as an American man dancing tango at milongas wherever I travel.
I began this blog when I returned from my first trip to Europe where I was able to dance at 16 milongas in 4 countries during a 3 week trip in 2014. Now I have danced tango in countries and have made four pilgrimages to Buenos Aires. My friend Juan says that now I am an “International Tango Machine” – which is where the name of the blog comes from.
I would appreciate all comments, feedback, and stories from anyone reading this blog. Please feel free to share your worldwide experiences dancing tango and any tips you can pass on. If you like the blog please click on “Like” and subscribe to receive updates.

Editor’s note: In 2018 Steve Darmo published a new book on tango. This is a must read book for all dancers who love tango and are looking for secrets to improve their dancing. It’s a practical and easy to read master class on the one important topic that instructors never seem to teach. The book is “Tango Endings: Learn the 9 Common Argentine Tango Ending Types, How to Anticipate Them, and 50 Musical Steps to Dance Them”. It’s now available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle versions. Buy your copy today because this contains all the research, tips, and secrets on endings that you can’t get anywhere else.
